If you’ve been following our progress for a while, you’ll notice that we recently went through a transformation.
You may recall from our post, The Name, that we had our reasons for choosing to operate as Flipped Realty, and, just as we anticipated, we have done some really great things!
In just over a year as Flipped Realty, we reinvested close to $40,000 back into our local community, we made new friends, we took on new agents, and we made some decisions to restructure the way we do business.
However, being a business owner sometimes means having to let go so that you can seek out new horizons. For us, that meant letting go of parts of our business model, and, sadly, it also meant letting go of a beloved name and logo that served us well.
New Name Same Commitment
We did many great things as Flipped Realty, and we cannot wait to do even more as Atlas Realty Trading Co!
Atlas was inspired by my (Vanessa’s) love for traveling and my sometimes old-fashioned nature. Working with our logo designer (she’s really the best), we came up with what you now see. For me, (again, Vanessa) the logo speaks to innovation, forward movement, connection, travel, and a time of excitement and progress.
At Atlas, we will continue to be innovative (our B.N.F., for example); we will seek to connect with you even more (bigger and better marketing and social media presence); and we plan to travel the globe, bringing our specific style of doing business to wherever we are able!

Website
We engaged See Girl Work, a Black, woman owned localish business, to design our new website. We expect to have the new website June 1st. Once we’re up and running, this website will be forwarded to our new site at atlasrealtyny.co.
Monthly Newsletter
As part of our new website, you will have the ability to subscribe to our monthly newsletter. The newsletter will be a place for us to say hello, highlight anything you may have missed on our social media pages (check out our new Instagram!) or our blog, and keep tabs on your favorite agents.
Last, But Not Least
We want to give a shout out to our 1st Quarter Building Neighborhoods Fund recipient: Community Music School of Buffalo (CMS)! Located on East Delevan, CMS offers individual lessons, group ensemble classes, and features a community choir. Additionally, thanks to their scholarship fund, anyone who desires to take lessons can. You can see why we couldn’t have been happier to support the wonderful work they’re doing! We invite you to consider supporting their mission by donating, or signing up for your own musical adventure!
